I loved Dev Patel in Slumdog Millionaire, and a little birdie tells me all the time (Ali) that people like Kumar (aka Kal Penn) from White Castle (he’s done non-stoner related material as well), but I can’t help but envision a Sergio Leone-western shoot out between the two to see who will be the accepted Indian-heritage actor in Hollywood. It’s sad but I can see this being a legitimate conversation among industry hacks. Wouldn’t it be lovely if both Dev and Kal got regular work? Whoa, both of their names are three letters long. Will the similarities ever end? Cue the damn spaghetti western music.
